b&m-TRIMNUT®
Repair nut for dirty and damaged threads
When bolt threads are damaged or corroded, it often requires the labor-intensive process of recutting the thread or replacing entire assemblies. The b&m-TRIMNUT® is designed to restore the functionality of these threads. Additionally, when used with a compatible bolt geometry, it can form new threads.
Functional principle
Through localized re-forming of the thread during screwing and unscrewing, the b&m-TRIMNUT® eliminates impact points. It also removes coating residues, weld spatter, rust, and heavy dirt, allowing the screw connection to be separated without damage.
