On the one hand, in our core industry, automotive engineering. Here we participate in leading trade fairs such as Automechanika Shanghai (Shenzen Edition, February 15-18) and IAA Mobility in Munich (September 5-10). On the other hand, we continue to position ourselves in new markets. For example, the b&m team will also be exhibiting for the first time at Agritechnica in Hanover (November 12-18).
With regards to the broader presence as a supplier of fasteners, closing and sealing systems, Lutz Büttner, Director of Sales, says: “Our solutions, which were originally developed for automotive customers, also prove their worth in applications for other industrial players. For example, in plant engineering and rail transport, but also in agricultural and construction machinery, we see enormous potential to establish ourselves even more strongly as a development partner and problem solver, especially for customer-specific requirements.” The path to this course is paved by technical innovations that are created from high-quality, precisely processed materials.
For b&m, product quality goes hand in hand with a sustainable approach. That’s why we put an increased focus on environmental compatibility in production by covering most of our electricity needs at our headquarters with solar power systems. “In addition, we also use our new chipless process b&m-ECCO TEC®,” says Jörg Pohl, Chief Technical Officer. “This allows rotationally symmetrical components with a wide variety of external contours to be manufactured – not only safely and quickly, but also in a manner that is both resources- and energy-efficient. This technology will shape our work in 2023 and beyond and give b&m customers a lot to look forward to.”
